A new concept in vehicle UI control, the steering wheel incorporates a force feedback motorized scroll wheel capable of changing its attributes per menu. With a small menu, clicks adjust allowing for large stops between selections with limits felt through torquing against the input. With something like a volume adjust, there are many micro steps that the wheel adjusts to as you visibly adjust up or down. Additionally, the wheel is capable of clicks in, out, and side to side to navigate the UI. A truly collaborative effort between our design, engineering, and UI/UX teams - all stemming from a sketch.

Leading the charge on this was such an honor - tackling problems and creating never before seen tech within the constraints of a steering wheel was immensely gratifying. We were able to push our engineering teams and supplier, ZF, to new limits and create a truly unique design.
